This site is focused on teaching you ways to increase affiliate sales. If you are new to internet marketing, you have about 10 million questions that you need answered. How do I build a website? How do I choose a domain name that will help me rank in the SERPs? What are SERPs exactly? Who should I use for web hosting? How do I get people to my website (which by the way is the easy part, it’s keeping them coming back to your website that’s the trick)?
So, how do you do all this stuff and how much money will you need to get started and what order do you need to do it all? A little more than one year ago I was asking these same questions.
Like many, my family was hit hard by the recession and I had to learn something new. I don’t even remember where I got the idea in my head that I could do this or why I even wanted to try but I could not be happier about deciding to learn how to be an online sales rep.
Most people call us internet marketers or affiliate marketers but, basically what we are is online sales representatives. That’s what most people don’t understand. They think they can spend a little money to bribe the magician into revealing his secrets. It’s not a magic show and there are no magic tricks.
Really, there must be a million different reasons people don’t follow through to making money but I believe the number one reason is because they never really come to understand what we do.
What we do is sell products for various companies, people think it’s a fairy tale but go look at just about any big company online like Amazon, or and Commission Junction‘s affiliate program who handles many major brands affiliate programs like Hershey and Home Shopping Network , just to name a couple, just about everyone has an affiliate program these days.
If you are a doubter, go visit various websites and look down inside the footer; usually, they will have an affiliate tab someplace on the website. If you click on that, you can read all about that company’s affiliate program but, more or less., what you see is, if you sell their products to people online, they will give you a commission for the sale.
That’s it in a nutshell. That’s how we make a living. It really does not take that much to make a nice extra income and eventually build it into a full-time business.
I really want you to understand this because I don’t want you to be confused about what you are getting into. You need to know if this is the path you want to take in life.
Something else I want you to really understand is that you are going to have to really spend a lot of time and effort on building an online business. First of all, the learning curve can be staggering. I won’t lie to you; it is going to take a lot of dedication if you are to preserver.
Many of you will have your family looking at you like you’ve lost your mind. They won’t get it and, the more you try to explain it to them, the more they are going to be convinced they are right.
You will need to make a few small initial investments – usually not more than $50 or $60 to start but that’s really up to you. There are ways to make it without spending any money at all but the problem is, you have to already understand how to do it.
The first thing you need to do is educate yourself and teach yourself how to do many different things. You will need to learn how to build a website. Not just any website either. I mean a quality website that offers quality information to people.
You will need to learn how to build nice social networks and gain followers that actually respond to your post. You will need to know how to build a network of quality backlinks and backlinks are not what they used to be.
You need to learn how to drive traffic to that site once it’s built and how to engage the visitors. I mean you want them to keep coming back, right?
It’s so important that you know these things because if anyone tells you this is easy, they are nuts! I mean look, it’s easy once you have already learned it but learning it and building it is not easy at all.
You need help if you want to learn. There are different ways to get help. You can hire a private tutor if you can afford it. This is a great option but very costly and out of reach for most people.
You can buy some guides and start to piece it all together. There are many great guides and many not so great ones too. So, how do you know what’s what? Basically, it’s a crap shoot, unless you have help.
Don’t worry though; in the pages of this website, you will learn where to get the help you need. I want you to know that I only recommend products and techniques that I use myself.

Learning online marketing can be overwhelming at first. You provide a good starting point for understanding where to look for information that is needed for this type of business.

It’s really is not that hard if you have some help, the hard thing is just understanding what to do, once you know that part it’s just a matter of learning it all one step at a time
Doing internet marketing in your own can really be confusing especially if you don’t have any experience. Proper training is really needed to lead you in the proper direction.
Yeah I mean it really is just more than anyone can hope to learn on their own. It would take years of trial and error to gain a full understanding of everything you need to learn.

Yeah cham it’s hard to find good quality information about what real marketers are doing and how they do it. I am just trying to break it down in simple terms that even my mother can understand.
Not that Mom isn’t smart but what we do is so far outside of anything she has ever learned before that it might as well be written in Chinese, if I try to use industry terms to explain things to her.
